Breaking News

Q2 has been an interesting and challenging time for our fledgling publication. All in all we're very happy with the results we've been able to produce for our sponsors and the reception we've received from our readers. Thanks all.

We launched this experiment in community journalism during the Hogeye Festival last October and posted the last of our submissions about a month ago. We've posted 15 of them below.

The Chronicle hit a speed bump at the end of May that delayed publishing new articles but we're on back on track. We just posted four great stories this past week with a few more coming.

There won't be any new posts in July as we'll be taking a break to revamp the site. This site will stay up until we switch over to our new, improved, format just before Labor Day!

In the interim we'll be recruiting community contributors. If you know any creative writers, musicians with videos, photographers looking for a place to show their work pleas have them get in touch at admin@elginchronicle.com. We're taking submissions for the Fall now.
